Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire has dropped his Brainiac EP, which boasts six new tracks and a sole feature from Meyhem Lauren. Beginning with “Lost In The Sauce,” the Brooklyn rapper quickly puts his lyrical prowess on display, spitting his words at a dizzying pace. His last EP, Live Forever, came out in 2015.
Although he has yet to release an official studio album, he’s working on one titled Black Genius. According to a Twitter post he made on Thursday (July 27), it’s likely not coming anytime soon.
“‘Black Genius’ gone come when it’s time,” he wrote. “Just enjoy this ride we taking. It will all make sense in the end.”

Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire announced details of a newly minted EP titled Brainiac on Thursday (July 20). The six-track project will be released on Chocolate Rabbit records on July 28 and is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
The Brooklyn MC emerged on the scene around 2011, making major waves online, collaborating with El-P for his breakout Lost in Translation mixtape, which was put out by streetwear brand/record label Mishka NYC. Following that release, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire released a string of projects including the January 2015 mixtape Live from the Danger Room and the Live Forever EP in October 2015.
In 2016, he released a video for “Green Ranger,” along with the song “Bend The Bloccs Freestyle” featuring DeILLest and Cokey Briccz. He also dropped songs called “American Pipe” and “Wednesday” and teased a project titled Black Genius.
