Atlanta, GA – Migos was set to catch a flight from the trio’s hub of Atlanta to Des Moines, Iowa on Friday (July 7) for a show, but evidently Takeoff, Quavo and Offset didn’t make it that far. According to TMZ, Takeoff was hauled off a plane for “disorderly conduct,” and Quavo and Offset joined him in a show-of-solidarity. Migos’ manager believes it was a case of racial profiling.
In the video above, the manager is adamant they “did nothing,” and can be heard saying he is going to sue Delta for the cost of the flight and any revenue lost from the missed show. He reportedly explained that the three members were in first class and exhausted, so they all fell asleep. Takeoff’s book bag was on the floor and not properly stored in the overhead bins as required. Because Takeoff was sleeping, he failed to follow the flight attendant’s instructions and the captain made the decision to kick him off the flight.
It appears the entire incident worked out in the “Bad & Boujee” rappers favor. In a video posted to Migos’ Instagram account, it’s clear they were allowed to board an empty plane and still make it to their show that night.
“RIGHT IS RIGHT WRONG IS WRONG,” the caption read. “Thanks @delta For Making It YOUR job to get US to our concert On TIME!!! W H O L E P L A N E ✈️,”
